@AravisGirl – I think I’d be too self-conscious to write in the bathtub. I’d be worried about dropping the paper or my pen. But it sure is a good thinking spot like you mentioned.

@Jenna – you get my vote for strangest writing place – on a ski lift sounds like quite the challenge! I’m with you – classy or isolated would be great. Thanks for sharing!

@Marsha Lyn – outside in the sun sounds fabulous. I did a little of that last summer and enjoyed it a lot. Though my puppy was sitting on my lap the whole time so I was trying to write around her. If she can get in the way, she does.

Desk, lying down, come up with stories in the bathtub, but I don’t have that waterproof paper. Sometimes I write on the couch.

Hi – I’ve never commented before, even though I’ve been following your blog through a feed reader for a while now.

Anyway, I write anywhere, with people around or without…the craziest place that I’ve written was on a ski lift (just to say that I had). However, I didn’t get many words because my pen had frozen. I like writing in my bed (when my laptop worked), however I found that I get more words when I’m sitting at my desk.

My dream writing place is somwhere either really classy or somwhere rustic, a hotel with…atmosphere.

I write in a corner of my bedroom in a cozy chair that I’ve dubbed my writing chair, and I only ever use it to write on my story. My second favourite place to write is outside when it’s nice and sunny and warm enough to not freeze without a jacket!
